The Challenge

Mike's Tree Service has been doing exceptional work in Napa since 1968. Over 50 years of experience, a fully licensed and insured team, and a reputation built one satisfied customer at a time.

But reputation alone does not show up on Google.

When homeowners in Napa, Yountville, American Canyon, Oakville, Deer Park, and Calistoga searched for tree removal or stump grinding, Mike's was not the first name they saw. Competitors with less experience were getting the calls simply because they ranked higher.

The goal was to fix that without shortcuts. Build visibility that lasts, across the communities Mike's Tree Service had been serving for decades.

What We Did

We built a visibility system around three areas that compound over time.

Local Search Optimization

We identified the search terms their customers were already using and built a strategy around owning those results inside their service area. Every page, every optimization, pointed back to one goal: show up when and where it matters.

Educational Content Creation

We developed seven SEO-focused blog articles written to answer the exact questions homeowners were already asking.

Each article was built to rank in search and to earn trust with the reader. Not filler. Not keyword stuffing. Real, useful content that works for the business long after it is published.

Authority Building

We supported the strategy with ongoing backlink development, website optimization, Google Business Profile management, and keyword tracking to make sure the foundation kept getting stronger.

What We Did

We built a full local search strategy designed to grow their footprint across Napa County, not just the city center.

Local Search Optimization

We mapped out the service areas Mike's Tree Service actually works in and built a content and optimization strategy around owning those search results. Every page, every update, and every optimization was pointed at the same goal: show up where customers are already looking.

Content Creation at Scale

We published 47 content pieces over the course of the campaign. Service pages, location-specific pages, and educational articles written to answer real questions homeowners ask before calling a tree company.

This kind of content does not just rank. It builds trust before a customer ever picks up the phone.

Authority Building

We grew the site's backlink profile to 258 external links pointing to Mike's Tree Service, strengthening their domain authority and supporting rankings across all targeted keywords.

Google Business Profile Management

We expanded and optimized their Google Business Profile to improve visibility in map-based searches across Napa County communities, including Yountville, American Canyon, Oakville, Deer Park, and Calistoga.

Technical SEO Improvements

We implemented a full round of technical improvements across the site including title tag optimization, meta description updates, internal linking structure, location-based service pages, schema enhancements, content expansion, and website architecture refinements. The goal was to make the site easier for Google to crawl, understand, and rank across multiple service areas.

Why This Matters

Mike's Tree Service was already the right choice for homeowners in Napa County. They had the experience, the team, the equipment, and the track record.

The only thing missing was visibility.

Every article we wrote, every page we optimized, and every backlink we earned is a permanent asset the business owns. When someone searches for tree removal in Yountville or stump grinding in American Canyon, Mike's Tree Service is now the name they find first.

That is what a real visibility system looks like.
